Keywords vs Code editing.

Two synchronized views of the same script.

The script editor has two editing views over one on-disk file:

  • Keywords: the script as structured steps (click, fill, assert, loops, conditionals, transactions). Add, edit, reorder, or delete steps without writing code.
  • Code: the raw TypeScript in a full editor. Save writes exactly what you typed.

Edits in one view round-trip to the other. Two safety rails protect the file:

  • Saving from a stale tab is rejected with a conflict ("Script changed on disk since you loaded it") instead of overwriting newer work.
  • A keyword edit re-renders only what parsing can faithfully reproduce. Imported specs that use selector styles the keyword model cannot represent are safest edited in Code view.

The Map tab shows which known pages of the application the script traverses.
